3. Payment Information

Important: Jikoni Safari does NOT store your mobile money PINs or passwords. We only store payment confirmation messages/screenshots and transaction reference IDs necessary to verify your purchase.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share necessary information only with:

  • Restaurants: Order details (items and special instructions) to prepare your food.
  • Riders: Name, phone number, and delivery location to fulfill the delivery.
  • Legal Authorities: Only if required by Tanzanian law.

5. Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and encryption. We verify all data transmissions via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized employees only.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your cart items. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the site may not function correctly.

7. User Rights

Under Tanzanian data protection principles, you have the right to:

8. Data Retention

We retain order history for accounting purposes. Payment screenshots are retained for up to 30 days for verification disputes. Deleted accounts are permanently wiped from our active databases after 90 days.
